Bart Jan Wijsman is a Dutch abstract artist whose work explores movement, depth and reflection. Working with layered surfaces and resin, he creates panels in which bold colours interact with light. Reflection and refraction generate a subtle three-dimensional effect. Inspired by nature, his palette is often rooted in deep blues and greens, balanced by deliberate contrasts that create tension and rhythm. The viewer is invited to slow down, to look, to be present and let color and form unfold naturally.
